THOMAS SABO SWEET DIAMONDS LAUNCH

We recently were invited to attend the unveiling of Thomas Sabo's new "Sweet Diamonds" collection held at the Tea Room in the QVB here in Sydney.  The stunning collection featured Thomas Sabo’s signature silver jewellery adorned with real diamonds and framed by yellow gold, with feminine motifs like hearts, bows and flowers taking pride of place. The crowd seemed to love it.


But...what to wear to a media event?? Ainslee had just landed a beautiful gold Michael Lo Sordo dress the week before so her outfit was sorted. I, on the other hand, was not. Same old story, so many clothes but nothing to wear. After rummaging through my already embarrassingly large wardrobe, I decided to go understated in an backless jumpsuit by Aqua. I bought it almost a year ago (another garment I saw and instantly loved) but just never got around to wearing it.  

I did my hair and make up in under 10 min (so time poor these days) and road tested a naked lip (which seemed to work at the time). In hindsight, probably not my best move.  Ainslee was rocking her signature bold orange lip that never fails.


 The night proved to be a huge success. The collection was beautiful, the food was divine and the company...well..I can't say that it was just another typical Tuesday evening  :-)
